Exhibits
East on Central, Highland Park’s Journal of Literature and Art
Sumi-e members Gloria Bradle, Monica Cardestam, Jan Keller Schultz, Regina Siske, Kay Thomas, and Linda Tomchuck have paintings that were accepted into the East on Central’s 2022–2023 edition of Highland Park’s journal of literature and art. A publication party will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 7:00 p.m. at the Highland Park Community House, 1991 Sheridan Road, Highland Park
Past Exhibits

Last fall, Sumi-e Midwest members Gloria Bradle, Steve Grant, Joan Rocamora, Sandra Robinson, Kay Thomas, and guest artist, Fiona Gray displayed their paintings at the Heller Nature Center in Highland Park, during October and November.

Regina Siske had new art pieces at Signature of Art Gallery, 715 Vernon Avenue, Glencoe.

Jan Keller Schultz had two paintings on exhibit at the North Shore Art League Galleries, October 3–24, at the Community House, 620 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka.

Kay Thomas had a couple of paintings on display in the Variations exhibit at the Bloomingdale Park District Museum, 108 S Bloomingdale Road, Bloomingdale, IL. The exhibit ran from August 27–September 24.

Steve Grant had a couple of watercolor paintings in the Inspired by . . . exhibit at the North Shore Art League exhibit at 620 Lincoln Avenue in Winnetka. The paintings were on display April 18–May 30.

Jan Keller Schultz exhibited a number of her paintings in a series called Evolution, a collection of Sumi-e and water color paintings. The exhibit was on display at the North Suburban YMCA, 2705 Techny Rd. Northbrook, April 1–29.

Reggie Siske had a painting that was juried into the show, Abstraction, February 18 through April 9 at the Highland Park Art Center in Highland Park.

Kay Thomas had 21 paintings on display at the North Suburban YMCA in Northbrook during the month of March.
